Brent Allen Northup once rode the Amazon River on a boat delivering Brazil nuts. He used to ride his horse into wilderness areas in the northeast USA, and he kayaked through frozen lakes and streams, and many not frozen. These days his bike takes him into remote western New England country roads. 

Brent is a restless and creative soul. He has had a long career in education, and before that he was a VP in a sales business, and a Director in a Human Service company. He spent his first three years out of college as a teacher in an international school in Brazil.

As Brent Northup, he has produced and acted in low budget independent films, available on Tubi and other streaming services.
Residing in rural Massachusetts with his wife, Brent continues to find inspiration writing, acting, and dedicating himself to exploring the human experience.
